Remote internet surveillance system

Although there is no uniform definition of a smart phone, it is generally accepted that it is more like a mini computer with phone functionality. BlackBerry is perhaps the best known of these high-tech products. Among other things, they have internet access.

Remote Internet Monitoring is simply the ability to see what your camera is hidden or not visible from all over the world by logging into an IP address.

Remote Internet monitoring is almost impossible because of cost, unless you were with the government or had lots of dollars. With advances in technology and high price competition, this feature is right there above all that want.

Want to see what's happening in your business from home? Or keep an eye on your children at home when you're on vacation? How do you view your vacation home that has some problems with vandalism? Or other situations where you have to see what happens, but can just not there.

Here's how.

1. Get a camera. Operate an IP camera or hidden camera. IP camera directly to your computer, eliminating the need for a separate recorder (DVR). If you want / need a hidden camera look at the babysitter to your office or business, there are many to choose from. Then you need a recording device with Internet connection.

2nd Get a tape recorder. A DVR is the common choice. USB-DVR is the cheapest, but others can handle as many as 4 to 16 cameras. Make sure the DVR has internet connectivity.

3rd Hook It Up. Get your IP address and access via your smartphone.

4th Watch it. How long have you access the Internet anywhere in the world can see what you can see your camera (s) on your BlackBerry, PDA or any device with Internet connection.
